We are two moms who live in an urban environment and believe in living frugally while experiencing life to the fullest.

Home Economista A is a graduate of Columbia University and Columbia Law School and is currently a stay-at-home mom looking after two children, both under 5.

Home Economista B grew up in Europe and graduated from the George Washington University Law School. She currently works part time as an attorney and “after-schools” her 3 and 4 year old girls.

We hope to post items on this site that will help you figure out, among other things: what to do with your kids in and around New York City, what to cook for dinner, and how to save money on groceries and drug store items.

We like to think of ourselves as a neo-home economics site for the modern parent who is trying to navigate through difficult economic times.
